Purpose
To assist schools with the delivery of food programs aimed at improving the quality of food offered to students and expanding access to healthy food and drink during the school day. Schools may also use the funding to support other initiatives focused on enhancing the quality and accessibility of food support.

Allocation of funds
Total funding of $10.655 million has been approved to maintain, establish or enhance the delivery of food programs in state schools. Allocations are determined based on individual needs of schools.

All Queensland state schools are encouraged to apply for the funding through an expression of interest (EOI) process opening 10 June 2024.
